What Is the ILM Volunteer Hub?

The ILM Volunteer Hub is a free online platform connecting New Hanover County residents with volunteer opportunities at local nonprofit organizations.

 

Whether you have an hour, a weekend, or a standing commitment to give, the ILM Volunteer Hub makes it simple to find the cause that fits you.

Launched in July 2026 in partnership with The Harrelson Center, the ILM Volunteer Hub is one of The Volunteer Leadership Lab's core programs and a key step toward building a culture of volunteerism across the Cape Fear region.

How It Works

Browse opportunities from local nonprofits by cause, schedule, or skill.

Sign up for opportunities, log your hours, and watch your impact grow.

For Organizations

Is your nonprofit looking for volunteers?

 

The Hub is free for New Hanover County organizations to post needs, recruit volunteers, and manage their programs.

 

By the end of the year, we'll also welcome public schools and local government.
